I started going to Chain when I was 16. Back then, it was all about seeing bands like Over My Dead Body, H2O, The Blood Brothers, Thursday, Thrice, Death by Stereo, and Throwdown. Those were the nights that shaped a lot of us. And over the years, it’s been wild to see those same bands evolve and come back around.

I’d come out just to hang with the friends running the place and catch a band’s set. Over time, I was lucky enough to keep shooting a lot of those same bands as they got bigger. Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World, The Offspring, Saosin playing that same tiny stage again. It never gets old.

Chain has always been our Sandlot. Our clubhouse. The kind of place that doesn’t have to change because it already knows exactly what it is. We’ve all leaned on cars out front, trading stories and watching the scene grow up. You don’t forget nights like that.
